An epic science fiction and fantasy film from 2015. It is part of the Star Wars franchise now owned by Disney.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (also known as Episode VII) is the first of a new "sequel trilogy" of films that begin chronologically 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi.

The new film introduced several new characters and locations alongside returning characters.
