Character introduced in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
Kylo Ren is the personal apprentice of Supreme Leader Snoke and the leader of the Knights of Ren, a group of Dark Side users who are inspired by (but distinct from) the original Sith cult.
Kylo is one of the commanders of the First Order, and shows no hesitancy in using brute force to achieve his goals. He wields a red crossguard lightsaber and his apprearance is reminiscent of Darth Vader's, wearing a face-obscuring helmet and long black clothing.
He is introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and is played by American actor Adam Driver.
