Routed solid body electric guitar named Duo Jet created and manufactured by American instrument maker Gretsch since 1955. Unveiled in 1953 as a direct competitor to Gibson's successful Gibson Les Paul, the G6128 features a smaller and slicker design compared to its contemporary brother the Gretsch 6120 along with pickups that give it a more powerful tone while at similarly low frequencies. Compared to the Les Paul, its neck and body are longer and the body in particular is rounder. The name was conceived as a combination of Duo given the dual-pickup setup and Jet inspired by advanced aircraft of the day.
George Harrison is the most well-known player of the G6128, utilising it frequently during The Beatles' early years, including it in a few of their studio albums.

Key visual traits of the G6128 include a round drop-like pickguard, triangle-arranged control knobs, distinctive V-shape tailpece (most commonly seen with a Bigsby vibrato system) and rocker bridge.

    Notable versions
    • G6128-1962: A double cutaway version, equipped with Gretsch's in-house "Filtertron" pickups (Danbooru post #731143).
    • G6128TCG: A special edition with Cadillac green (CG) finish and gold hardware.
    • G6128T 6 12: Special double-neck version with one of said necks being a twelve-string rather than six.
