gretsch 6120

Hollow body electric guitar created and manufactured by American instrument maker Gretsch since 1955 in conjuction with Country musician Chet Atkins. This model acquired rapid success in the Rockabilly, Rock n' Roll and Country music scenes, being held by one successful musician to the next, due to this popularity it was then acquired by numerous even-higher profile musicians including Eric Clapton, Pete Townsend of The Who, The Beatles' George Harrison and many others, turning it into one of Gretsch's most recognisable models.

Key visual traits of the G6120 include its notably large size compared to more common guitars, four control knobs with one placed at the body's cutaway section, F-holes on its body top and long bridge with either a hard tailpiece of a Bigsby vibrato system.

A vast and wide amount of variations exist of this model to be able to narrow them down to specific versions, from different control configurations and pickups (Danbooru post #480170) to different fretboard inlays (or no inlays at all), finishes and hardware (Danbooru post #2323061)
