Clothing often uses shiny materials, fur, and denim, and may be decorated with sequins or rhinestones. Leopard print and camouflage are common, as well as imagery of butterflies, stars, and hearts.
Common garments include tube tops and cropped tank tops and big jackets on the upper body, and oversized pants such as cargo pants or bell-bottoms, denim shorts and skirts, or miniskirts in bright colors on the lower body. Bottomwear often has a low-rise waistline. Common accessories include sunglasses, belts with heart-shaped or jeweled buckles, leg and arm warmers, fluffy hats, and handbags. Footwear commonly worn includes fur-trimmed boots, and platform footwear.
It may sometimes overlap with cyber fashion, gyaru, streetwear and heisei retro. Additionally, it can overlap with 1990s fashion.
