A fictional heavy variable mecha from the Macross series.
The Shin-Nakasu/Northrom Grumman VB-6 König Monster is a transformable successor of the original Monster Destroid.
It can change into shuttle-shaped space bomber, destroid and gerwalk (original Monster Destroid) modes. It is one-third the size and half the weight of its predecessor. Its main armaments are four 320 mm rail guns.
The mecha first appeared in Macross VF-X2 video game. In the Macross Frontier TV series and Macross Frontier The Movie, the VB-6 belonging to S.M.S was piloted by Canaria Berstein.
It was designed by Kawamori Shouji using Miyatake Kazutaka's original design.
