A South Korean survival drama series on Netflix.
The first season aired worldwide on September 17, 2021. The second season aired on December 26, 2024. A third season is expected to release in 2025.
The story revolves around Seong Gi-hun, a debt-ridden gambling addict who was invited to the "Squid Game" tournament to play a series of children's games to win a huge amount of cash. He is taken to an unknown location along with other 455 people with financial issues. They later found out that the disqualified participants will be killed, as well as facing physical and psychological twists of the game itself.
Note: The green track suit the characters wore in the series is a very common style of Asian school uniform. Please do not tag Squid Game on any similar instance of the track suit, such as the meme attire China tracksuit.
