On Danbooru and real life, the term Spetsnaz generally refers to Soviet or Russian special forces. Historically, the term referred to special operations units under the control of the GRU, the main military intelligence service. Russian special forces wear different berets depending on the branch of the armed forces to which they belong.
Spetsnaz operatives are usually depicted wearing the Gorka suit or military fatigues with EMR camouflage, balaclava, SMERSH load bearing equipment, and sometimes the distinct Altyn helmet.
