shimushu (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese escort ship Shimushu. Character design by Ugume, voiced by Sasaki Hitomi.
She has short, messy, grey hair with bangs, and green eyes drawn in tareme style. Her default (and only) outfit is the class' uniform: a white shirt, fur-trimmed green jacket, red neck ribbon, green pleated skirt, white pantyhose, and black mary janes.
Her rigging consists of her funnel and foremast to her back, two hull pieces each containing a 12 cm single gun mount and 25 mm triple anti-aircraft guns, and depth charges on her ankles.
She is named after Shumshu Island, the second-northernmost of the Kuril Islands.
