Sanitization is a physical condition in the Splatoon series, it was introduced in the paid DLC of Splatoon 2, the Octo Expansion. Where it is frequently featured on the campaign's Octarian and Octoling enemies. The affliction is not exclusive to them however, as non-hostile characters such as Acht have been Sanitized as well.

Appearance

They are shown to have a different coloration, depending on their "level of sanitization". Their skin is pale green/blue, they have black sclera with neon-blue pupils, and their hair has a blue color, sometimes with a green gradient.
