Enemies in Splatoon. Called Octolings in the English version, though they are distinct from the species also known as Octolings. They have since been nicknamed by fans as Octozons.

They are an all-female group of Octarian soldiers. Like Inklings, they can transform into humanoids and wield handheld ink weapons.

Their animal form resembles a small octopus, with their humanoid form being a girl with red octopus tentacles tied in a bouffant. As humans, they tend to wear goggles. Concept art shows that they have purple rings around their bright green eyes (being most prominent in the bottom) and rectangular pupils akin to an actual octopus. Other than this and one of the pictures in the game's credits they are never seen without their goggles. Marina's reveal confirms they can have different hair colors, like Inklings; whether they can have different eye colors is unknown.
