ray (mospeada)

One of the main characters from the Kikou Souseiki Mospeada mecha anime series from the 1980s.

Ray is a 17-year-old Earth human rebel who fights against the Inbit. He is a good motorcycle rider. Ray used to be a desert scavenger. He is now the historian, optimist, and wisecracker of Stick Bernard's guerilla fighter squad.

Ray's mecha of choice is a green VR-052T Battler Mospeada variable motorcycle, which carries a high-capacity beam pistol. Stick taught him how to use a green Legioss and a blue Tread mecha too, but he is just an average pilot.

His name was changed to Rand in the Robotech American adaptation of the series.
