penny (pokemon)
Penny, known as Botan (ボタン) in Japan, is one of the rivals in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Originally from the Galar region, Penny is a shy girl in the same grade as the protagonist who is apparently good with machines and computers. She appears several times in the Starfell Street storyline serving as Cassiopeia's supply unit rep. The box legendary seems fond of licking her.
She is very fond of the Pokémon Eevee may evolve into, which she refers to as "Veevees".
It is eventually revealed that she is the true identity of Cassiopeia, forming Team Star in a response to being bullied at the academy. Her true personality is sarcastic and often brusque, but she cares for her friends dearly.
