morito (sidonia no kishi)
(もりと, "Garde" or "Guardian")
A series of fictional manned combat mecha from the Sidonia No Kishi science fiction series. In the story they are mainly used to fight the Gauna alien monsters. It has a function to increase speed output by holding hands each other.
Spaceship Sidonia's major production type at the story's start is Kunato Developments' "Ichihachi-shiki Morito" / Type 18 [One-Eight] Garde, and its power source is the Heigus/Hyggs engine.
