sidonia (ship)

A fictional massive spacecraft from the Sidonia No Kishi science fiction series.

The Sidonia spaceship is one of several Seed Ships (Hashu-sen), a series of gigantic generation ships where human people live. It has its own technologically advanced culture and most of its inhabitants are clones and/or genetically modified.

Some sections of its outer hull are covered with rocks what gives it an appearance similar to an asteroid (one of the ends of the ship seems to be embedded into an actual asteroid).
