One of Virginia Maxwell's rivals in Wild Arms 3. Maya and Virginia are similar in that they're the female leaders of their teams, but different in that Maya is more experienced and has more mischievous goals. Maya's group consists of her younger brother Alfred Schrodinger, their butler Todd Dukakis, and a mysterious cat named Shady Thousand. Despite her rough edges, she and Virginia do eventually forge a bond as their respective adventures keep drawing them together.

Maya has the unusual ability to copy data from fictional characters and apply them to her combat skills - hence her uncanny resemblance to the first Wild Arms' Calamity Jane Maxwell. As the game progresses, she is also seen briefly taking on the powers and appearance of a magical girl and a martial-arts fighter. Maya's rarely-depicted true form is as a somewhat "nerdy" girl with plain clothes and large swirly glasses.
