The third game in the Wild Arms franchise, also known as Wild Arms: Advanced 3rd. It all begins when the four main characters Virginia Maxwell, Jet Enduro, Clive Winslett, and Gallows Carradine meet each other on a train while after the same artifact. They suddenly need to team up to fend off a group of thieves led by Janus Cascade, after which they travel together to learn about the mysteries surrounding the dying world Filgaia.
Of any of the games, this particular Wild Arms is well-known for its complexity and numerous plot twists. It is also the first game to transition into full 3-D environments. The only four playable characters are:
