mashin

A.K.A. Rune Gods; the term for the three guardians of Cephiro in the Magic Knight Rayearth series. They also appear in Tsubasa Chronicle as the Kudan. The three Mashin are:

• Rayearth, a land animal enveloped in fire, and is Shidou Hikaru's Mashin and Xiaolang's Kudan. He is renamed Lexus in the Rayearth OVA, and Rayearth is the name of the three Mashin combined here.
• Ceres, a blue water dragon. He is Ryuuzaki Umi's Mashin and Kurogane's Kudan.
• Windam, a green bird that controls wind. He is Hououji Fuu's Mashin and Fai D. Flowright's Kudan.
