Series: Shakugan no Shana
Title: Interpreter of Condolences / Chanter of Elegies

The Flame Haze bound to the Crimson Lord Marchosias. Margery is a hard-drinking brawler who lives to kill Crimson Denizens -- and is very good at it. Her ultimate goal is vengeance on an entity called the Silver, but she's got plenty of rage to go around, as Shana finds out early on. Upon arriving in Misaki City, Margery randomly enlists Satou Keisaku and Tanaka Eita as assistants; she soon becomes fond of them, and learns to get along with Shana, but it's a long time before she really opens up to anyone.

Margery wears glasses, a ponytail, and a choker, and dresses like an office lady. The big book she's usually carrying is the vessel of Marchosias (whom she yells at a lot). Her name comes from an old nursery rhyme; this theme carries over to her attacks, which involve reciting a line or two of poetry. She can also turn into a werewolf, of all things.
