Mallow, known as Mao (マオ) in Japan, is a character introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon.

Mallow is a captain on Akala Island in Alola and works at a restaurant where she hones her skills as a chef. Her cooking is unique but popular among some (official bio). Her signature Pokémon is Tsareena.

She has dark skin, green eyes, and long green hair with swept bangs and in twintails. She wears a headband with a flower, a shirt under grey overalls, and green and white shoes with green ribbons.
