footwear ribbon
A ribbon used to secure shoes on the feet by wrapping around and being secured to the ankles or calves.
Most commonly seen on ballet slippers. Also seen on the shoes of Kanonno Grassvalley and Luca Truelywaath.
Sometimes seen on the shoes of Kaname Madoka's magical girl outfit, though it's usually hard to tell whether the bow around her ankle is part of a shoe ribbon, a separate ankle ribbon, or simply a circular ankle strap on her shoe.
