A regular Earth Federation Space Forces veteran who isn't too fond of the Titans but fights alongside them anyway because she is ordered to do so.

Lila Milla Rira is a skillful veteran mecha pilot, able to control the notoriously finicky Galbaldy Beta mobile suit. However, even her experience and skills are not enough to defeat Kamille Bidan in his Gundam Mk II mobile suit who shots her down in a space duel early in the series, Lila realizing in her last moments how helpless "oldtypes" are against the powers of "newtypes" like Kamille. This encounter would worsen the animosity between Kamille and Jerid Messa even further, as Jerid was secretely in love with the older woman.
