Animation studio, nicknamed KyoAni (京アニ). As its name suggests, it is primarily based in Kyoto Prefecture.

On the morning of July 18, 2019, an arson attack was carried out at Kyoto Animation's first studio that resulted in 36 deaths and 33 injuries. Some posts will be in the 'In Memoriam' pool (Danbooru pool #1318) for this reason.
