The fourth volume in the Suzumiya Haruhi light novel series.

On October 8th, 2009, it was announced that it would be adapted into a feature film following the recently concluded second season. It premiered February 6th, 2010.

The manga Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu, with art by Puyo, is a spin-off based on the setting of this volume.
