ice floe
Floating sheets or pieces of ice that aren't attached to any landmass and freely drifts in the sea.
As opposed to icebergs which originate on land as part of glaciers, ice floes form in the sea as frozen sea water. Their sizes can vary and overlap with each other, but as far as tagging is concerned, ice floe generally refers to smaller pieces of ice often seen floating together in fields.
