An infamous scene from Fullmetal Alchemist where Edward Elric confronts Shou Tucker after realizing the latter performed alchemy on his daughter Nina and his dog Alexander to create a chimera.

The scene is best remembered for Tucker's half-angry, half-cynical expression and his reply to Edward: "I hate kids with good instincts like you." In some localization, the word "kids" were switched into "brats" instead.

References to this scene will often include a character in the Edward role inquiring about the whereabouts of other characters and the dates of past events. The character in the Tucker role will usually reply something to the effect of, "I hate [X] with good instincts like you."
