deirdre (fire emblem)
Deirdre (ディアドラ, known as Diadora in the Japanese version) is a major character from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. She is the wife of Sigurd and mother of Seliph.
Deirdre serves as the cornerstone of the game's entire plot. Some time into the adventure, Manfroy abducts and brainwashes Deirdre, then presents her to Alvis; additionally, she is revealed to be King Azmur's long-lost granddaughter and Prince Kult's daughter with Cigyun. Deirdre and Alvis are later married, unaware of their relation as half-siblings, and have twins together: Julius, vessel of Loptous, and Julia, vessel of Naga. Deirdre meets her end when Julius slays her with Loptous's power.
