conductor (ginga tetsudou 999)

Conductor (Sashou-san) is one of the main characters of the Ginga Tetsudou 999 (Galaxy Express 999) science fiction series from the 70s created by Matsumoto Leiji. He is voiced by the late Kimotsuki Kaneta.

Conductor is the main crew member of the Galaxy Express 999 spacecraft. He is a short alien being with an invisible body thus only his eyes can be seen while he is wearing his train conductor uniform.

His character design is somewhat similar to the Jawas from Star Wars, Orko from Masters of the Universe and Vivi Ornitier from Final Fantasy IX.
