The CETME Model L is a Spanish 5.56×45mm NATO assault rifle. The weapon was designed in 1981, utilizing the same roller-delayed blowback like the earlier CETME Model 58 and compatible with 30-round STANAG magazine. It has been largely replaced in Spanish military service by the G36.
