One of the main characters from the Star Wars science fiction series, and the protagonist of the prequel trilogy.
Portrayed by Jake Lloyd as a child in The Phantom Menace, and by Hayden Christensen or his likeness otherwise (with the exception of Sebastian Shaw's one portrayal as Anakin).
He is the padawan (disciple) of Obi-Wan Kenobi and the master of Ahsoka Tano. While he became a hero of the Republic, Anakin's promising career was tragically ended when Darth Sidious corrupted him into the Dark Side, being rechristened as Sith Apprentice Darth Vader.
