One of the main characters in Dragon Quest IV as well as the main character of the first Fushigi no Dungeon game. Torneko is a portly merchant who is an adept swordsman in spite of his physique.
In the original NES localization, he was renamed Taloon, and in the Nintendo DS remake, both names were combined, rendering him Torneko Taloon. Modern localizations (including DS) will also give him an Irish accent.
