MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai

A comprehensive upgrade to the venerable Zaku series of Zeon mobile suits, aiming to standardize parts and improve the MS's performance. While still inferior to the cutting-edge Gelgoog and incapable of loading beam weapons, it was nonetheless a competent machine.

One unit was famously piloted by Bernard Wiseman during the events of War in the Pocket, and it fought the powerful Gundam Alex to a stalemate and critically damaged the prototype, but at the cost of its pilot's life.
