MS-05L Zaku I Sniper Type

A repurposed version of the outright inadequate Zaku I mobile suit designed to provide long-range support. Refitted with a head unit derived from a reconnaissance type and capable of firing a massively powerful beam sniper rifle or the modular Magella Top Cannon, it delivered top-tier performance for such an old model.

One unit was piloted by Yonem Kirks during the Zeon Remnants attack on Torrington Base in UC 0096, providing excellent fire support for the attacking team.
