yoru wa mijikashi arukeyo otome

夜は短し歩けよ乙女

(よるはみじかしあるけよおとめ, lit. The Spring Night is Short, Move It Girl!)

A Japanese novel by Morimi Tomihiko that was published in November 2006 by Kadokawa Shoten. It was also adapted into 5 volume manga series illustrated by Kotone Ranmaru.

Both the novel and the manga series detail the exploits of the unnamed protagonist who is falls in love with "Kurokami no Otome", his junior in a college club, and struggles daily to be noticed by her. However, “Kurokami no Otome” is naïve and unsophisticated and is completely indifferent to him. This comical love fantasy depicts funny and interesting daily happenings in the city of Kyoto.
