The Walther PP (Polizeipistole) is a double-action semi-automatic handgun of German origin, designed in 1929 and manufactured by Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen. Its compact size and blowback operation influenced some pistol designs like the Makarov PM.
Available in different variants, the most prominent one is the shortened Walther PPK (Kurz) which is associated with James Bond franchise.
