vrlitwhai kridanik

Vrlitwhai Kridanik (ブリタイ・クリダニク, Buritai Kuridaniku) is a character from the MACROSS universe. He appears in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Macross: Do You Remember Love?, and Macross Flashback 2012.

Vrlitwhai is a Zentradi fleet commander in charge of his own fleet under the Boddole Zer Main Fleet. His command post is a Nupetiet-Vergnitzs spacecraft.

As a commander-type Zentradi, he is much larger and stronger than the normal Zentradi soldier, and can even survive in the vacuum of space for limited periods of time, allowing him to go toe to toe with a VF-1.

The original Japanese romanization of the character's name, according to Studio Nue, is "Vrlitwhai Kridanik". The creators of Macross originally gave this and other Zentradi character names unusual romanizations to befit their alien nature.

The name of the character was changed to Vrlitwhai 7018 in the Do You Remember Love? anime film and to Breetai in the ROBOTECH American adaptation.

The visual design of this character is based on Domel from the Uchuu Senkan Yamato anime series.
