viper (spacecraft)

A one-man spacecraft from the Battlestar Galactica science fiction franchise.

A type of small aerospace starfighter used by the human forces during their battles against the Cylon robots in the show.

The Colonial Viper is very fast, highly maneuverable and also armed with 2 laser cannons in the original series. The 2003 "Re-Imagining" equips them with 30mm autocannons to maintain a more "realistic" aesthetic. Some models can also be modified to carry an additional pilot or even missiles and other weaponry.
