A fictional transformable mecha from the MACROSS science fiction anime series. It first appeared in the Macross 2 OVA from 1992.

The VF-2SS Valkyrie II is a heavy armed variable fighter optimized for space operations. It is equipped with many missiles as well as several projectile and energy weapons.

In real life it was designed by Oohata Kouichi in the early 90s.
