A mysterious location central to the plot of the Persona series, where the protagonists are given the ability to change their Personas.

The room is always decorated lavishly in blue velvet and is hosted by a mysterious, long-nosed man named Igor. It exists "between dream and reality, mind and matter." It and its entranceway are invisible to those without sufficient spiritual power or, in later games, to those not chosen by it.

In the first two games, it is a static room. In Persona 3, it is an endless ascending elevator, in Persona 4, it is a limousine traveling through a luminous fog and in Persona 5 it takes the form of a prison.
