A buddha venerated in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. Regarded as the primordial, celestial form of the Shakyamuni Buddha in all his instances across innumerable worlds.

A 14.98 meter tall statue of the Vairocana Buddha, the tallest of its kind in the world, can be found at the Toudaiji temple in Nara, Japan.
