uss missouri (bb-63)

USS Missouri (BB-63) is the third of the four Iowa-class battleship built for the United States Navy.

She is best known as the site of the signing of the instrument of surrender of the Empire of Japan to mark the official end of World War II on September 2, 1945.

She is currently served as a museum ship at Pearl Harbor, being moored directly across the USS Arizona Memorial.
