ultraman zearth (series)
A film series in the long-running Ultra Series, consisting of two movies, Ultraman Zearth, and Ultraman Zearth 2: Superhuman War: Light and Shadow. Both movies were released in 1996 and 1997, respectively. The movies serve as a parody/spoof of the Ultra Series, in general.
It also features product placement from the Idemitsu petroleum company, in which the character of Ultraman Zearth is created to advertise for. Zearth would be succeeded in this role in 2007 by the Ultra Idemitsujin, who would appear exclusively in Idemitsu commercials, consisting of Ultraman Hotto, Motto, and Kitto, with their designs drawing from Zearth's. As a result, they count under Zearth's copyright tag.
