An american gothic metal band from New York, formed on 1989 by Peter Steele.

The band was composed by Peter Steele (vocals, bass), Kenny Hickey (guitars, backing vocals), Josh Silver (keyboards, piano, backing vocals)
and Johnny Kelly (drums).

Their lyrics generally speak of love relationships, depression, death, sex, Religion and personal issues experiences of Steele during his own career.

Steele passed away on April 14, 2010 as the result of a heart attack due to Sepsis, leading to the band's breakup.
