Part of a dress that drags behind the wearer. Traditionally found on wedding dresses and formal clothes gowns of European nobility.
Try to limit this tag on skirts and dresses that actually touch the ground. For a generic "longer on the back" silhouette, use high-low skirt, overskirt or showgirl skirt accordingly.
