A sports car concept presented by Toyota in 2014. The FT-1 would ultimately inspire the Mk V Supra, though it's production successor had much different proportions due to it's shared BMW platform. The concept also featured an active aero spoiler that was cut from the production car, likely to keep the price within the target value of $60,000.

Despite not being a production vehicle, the FT-1 has appeared multiple times in the Gran Turismo series, both in it's original design and in racecar variants based on GT3 and Super GT GT500 regulations.
