Toward the Terra (JP: 地球へ… "Terra e...") is a 1977 sci-fi manga created by Takemiya Keiko. Is has been adapted into an anime movie (1980) as well as a animated TV series (2007).

In the future, the planet Earth is a barren husk unable to support life. Humanity has left the planet behind to colonize other worlds. Ruled by a supercomputer that controls childbirth, humans face the emergence of a new race called the "Mu". The Mu live hidden from humanity, dreaming of returning to Terra.
