touhou world cup
Annual international Touhou shooting game competition, first held in 2020 and held every year since. It is organized by members of the global Touhou gameplay community. Three teams from all around the world duke it out on Lunatic (and Extra) mode, playing live to either get the highest score ("scoring") or clear with the fewest mistakes ("survival") - potentially claiming the mythical LNN (Lunatic No Miss No Bomb) run. Often abbreviated as TWC.
Since 2021, artists have joined the project to illustrate the matches, often highlighting the incredible achievements that happened during them or the overall gameplay of the category being showcased.
