The plot revolves around Emmet, an ordinary Lego minifig who one day finds the "Piece of Resistance" and, accompanied by Wyldstyle and a bunch of other Lego characters, must stop Lord Business from gluing everything in the Lego universe.

A sequel was released in 2019.
