the cockpit: knight of the iron dragon
The third episode of the 1993 OVA adaptation of the World War II military manga, The Cockpit.
Set in the late part of the Pacific war, the episode deals with the mission of a couple of Japanese soldiers who try to reach an airfield using a motorcycle during the Battle of Leyte Gulf (1944).
