Takarajima (Treasure Island) is a Japanese anime television series that first aired during 1978 in Japan. It was directed by Dezaki Osamu and produced by Madhouse and Tokio Movie Sinsha.

The series was also released during the mid 80s in Europe, Mexico, South America & Arab World countries.

Takarajima is based on the classic Robert Louis Stevenson "pirates and gold" adventure novel, Treasure Island.
